A life well loved. A life of intention.

Helping women make thoughtful choices that create more peace, more margin, and more joy.

Welcome to Well Loved: A Life of Intention, A Life Well Loved

There is something beautiful about a life that is lived with intention—not because everything is perfect, but because we have learned what matters most.

Welcome to Well Loved.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to build a life that we genuinely love living.

Not a perfect life.

Not a perfectly organized home, a perfectly planned schedule, or a life that looks beautiful from the outside.

Just a well-loved life.

A life where the ordinary things matter.

Where we prioritize the people we love.

Where our homes feel like us.

Where we spend our money thoughtfully.

Where we find clothes that make us feel good.

Where we grow things, cook things, gather around the table, make memories, laugh, mess things up, and try again.

Where we aren’t constantly chasing the next thing, but learning to appreciate and steward what is already here.

And that’s really what Well Loved is about.

A little about me

I’m a wife and mom of four, and I’ve also had the privilege of helping raise my niece, who is now a senior at Texas A&M. So much of my life has been shaped by motherhood in its many different forms. Raising little ones, watching them grow, cheering from the sidelines, and learning along the way that the years really do go faster than we think.

I’m also a NICU nurse, dance mom, swim mom, baseball mom, gardener, and—over the years—a small business owner and seamless file creator. I’ve tried a few different creative ventures along the way, and each one has taught me something about what I enjoy, what matters to me, and what I want to make room for in this season of life.

Life in our house is full. Wonderfully full. Wonderfully chaotic.

There are practices and games, laundry and dishes, schoolwork and grocery lists, garden projects and bedtime routines.

There are days when everything seems to work.

And there are days when I’m reheating my coffee for the third time and wondering how it got to 4 p.m.

And honestly, I think that’s part of why I wanted to create Well Loved.

Because I’ve realized that I don’t want to spend my life waiting for things to become easier, prettier, more organized, or more perfect before I enjoy them.

I want to love this life while I’m actually living it.

What does “well loved” mean?

To me, being well loved isn’t about having more. It’s about being thoughtful about what we choose. It’s knowing what is worth our time and what isn’t. It’s buying fewer things we don’t need and finding the things that truly make everyday life easier or better. It’s creating a home that works for the people who actually live in it. It’s finding an outfit that makes you feel like yourself again after a long week. It’s planting flowers just because you enjoy seeing them bloom…or because you’d love to gift bouquets to every friend you visit! It’s making dinner and eating it around the table when you can. It’s taking the picture even when the kitchen is messy. It’s saying no to something good because you need room for something more important. It’s making traditions. It’s opening the windows on a beautiful morning. It’s choosing presence over perfection.

And sometimes, it’s simply recognizing:

This is a good life.

Even when it doesn’t feel particularly glamorous.

“Where our homes feel like us.”

Intentional doesn’t mean doing everything perfectly

I think “intentional living” can sometimes sound like another thing we’re supposed to be good at.

Another checklist, standard, or reason to feel like we’re falling behind.

That’s not what I want Well Loved to be.

I don’t want to tell you that you need to wake up at 5 a.m., make homemade bread, organize your entire house, grow your own vegetables, have a capsule wardrobe, homeschool your children, exercise every morning, and somehow have dinner on the table by 5:30.

I certainly don’t do all of those things.

Instead, I want to explore a much simpler question:

What actually makes life better?

The things that make up a well-loved life

You’ll find a little bit of everything here.

Home, because our surroundings affect how we live.

Motherhood, because raising children is one of the biggest parts of my life.

Faith, because my relationship with Christ shapes the way I want to live and raise my family.

Style, because I don’t think becoming a mom means we stop caring about feeling good in what we wear.

Gardening, because there is something wonderful about growing something with your own hands.

Family life, because the ordinary days are the ones we’re actually given.

And finds, because I love discovering something that genuinely makes life easier, prettier, or more enjoyable—and I want to share the things that I actually think are worth it.

There will be favorite outfits.

Amazon finds.

Home ideas.

Garden projects.

Family traditions.

Things I’m learning.

Things I’m trying.

Things that worked.

And, occasionally, things that absolutely did not work.

I don’t want Well Loved to be a place where everything is presented as perfect. I want it to be useful, honest, and beautiful in an attainable way. And hopefully, encouraging without making you feel like you need to add another 37 things to your to-do list.

A life well loved

I don’t know exactly what Well Loved will become and that’s okay. Right now, I’m more interested in building something that fits into my actual life than building something that takes over my life. I want this to be a place where we can pause for a minute. A place where we can find a recipe, an outfit, a garden idea, a favorite product, or maybe just a little encouragement.

A place where we can talk about making thoughtful choices without taking ourselves too seriously because I don’t think a well-loved life is created by doing everything right. I think it’s created in the little choices we make over and over again.

So, welcome to Well Loved.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Here’s to creating a life of intention. A life well loved.
